Biography
Nasser Kazemi was born in 1984. He completed a BSc in Geology from the University of Tabriz in 2007. Then he continued his education at the University of Tehran in Geophysics and graduated in 2010. His Master thesis has been mainly focused on Transform- domain sparsity regularization in reconstruction of channelized facies. Currently he is working toward a PhD degree in Geophysics at the University of Alberta under the supervision of Dr Mauricio Sacchi. His research is mainly focused on applying compressive sensing algorithms to acquisition design and fast implementation of Least squares migration algorithms.
